Surfacing

The fog has lifted and I am beginning to think clearly again. I've been sick, but I am finally on the mend. Fortunately, I managed not to cause any serious damage. I did have a couple close calls, like when I realized I scheduled a couple bills to be paid at the end of January instead of in a couple weeks. Let's just say that it is a good thing I didn't feel like knitting much, because I'm pretty sure I would have made a mess of anything I did - like the booties I tried. They are for a premie, but these are turning out virtually microscopic. I will be ripping out a little later tonight.

Fortunately I got a little energy tonight and straightened up my &^%$ that has been spread all over the house. I think I am finally ready to bring in a Christmas tree, something I usually look forward to, but have been dreading a bit this year because of the mess.

And for no other reason, here's a cute picture of Jenny:

Sorry to hear you've been sick! I'm having a similar need to take care of things that I let slide during exams. I know what you mean about the tree, too. This year, for the first time, I don't think I'm going to do the tree thing...too many needles, and not the good, knitting kind, either.

I'm glad you're feeling better - and Jenny looks so wide-eyed and alert (cute!) I just saw a half Daschund, half Chihuahua breed yesterday (yeah...not so cute.)
