I knew I wanted to knit a special sweater to commemorate Bean's arrival, but I wasn't sure what it should be. In the end, I figured I couldn't go wrong with a
February Baby Sweater. I mean, right? Classic, timeless, cute... I'm calling it Blossom.

I'm using Rowan Wool Cotton, and it's knitting up pretty quickly. I finished the yoke and one sleeve. I decided to knit the sleeves in the round- a good move, if I do say so myself. Of course this won't be the only sweater I ever knit for her, but I think it's getting me off to a good start.

Bump at 31 weeks (and a crazy shadow!)
I hadn't taken a full-length bump-showin' photo in a while, so just in case you're wondering what 31 weeks looks like, here you go! Yes, I said 31 weeks. Which means 9 weeks (give or take...we all know this is not an exact science) to go. I can't believe it! How did this happen??
